Right next door to Southfork Ranch is Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve, Plano’s largest park with 800 acres of nature. With trails, creeks, and ponds open from sunrise to sunset, there’s so much to see and do.

 

If you own a paddleboard or canoe, bring it to Oak Point and hang out on the pond. Anyone is welcome to canoe, kayak or paddleboard on the pond from dawn until dusk. If you’re up for an adventure, check out Go Ape, a journey through the forest canopy with obstacles, swings and zip lines.

 

Dallas World Aquarium

 

About a 30-minute drive from Southfork Ranch is the Dallas World Aquarium. Explore the animals of Africa and Australia. Brave the crocodile cove and learn how certain species catch their prey.
